Determining the ideal state of your new space
Programming and planning are the foundation of every project and are a critical stage in the design development process. We gather and analyze data through interactive client engagement activities that help to guide the functional foundation of the design. Through research, observation and engagement with your team and staff, we are able to determine the scope of work and identify important decision-making milestones.
We strive to gain a thorough understanding of your space and adjacency needs by observing how people interact within the environment. From this understanding, we develop various workflows, space planning and space layout options with the goal of maximizing usable area, as well as improving user efficiencies to optimize real estate. Results from these observations have led clients to determining a new space will be needed or that with creative design, their real estate could be consolidated from multiple buildings to a single location. Following space planning layouts, we can begin to incorporate furniture selections into the design that will elevate both the space and user potential.
