EUA PUBLIC INFORMATION & REFERENDUM SPECIALIST

In February 2009, Eppstein Uhen Architects formed a special team to assist public organizations and private companies navigate the federal government's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the State of Wisconsin's Office of Recovery and Reinvestment. This "SWAT team" works with our partners to provide strategic, legal and design guidance and support for organizations that are interested in stimulus funding at the local, state or federal level.

At EUA, we understand that your organization — like many others — may have projects that could benefit from stimulus funding. EUA, along with our partners, can help you through the process. Some of the services we can provide include:

  • Determining your eligibility for the various categories of funding at the local, state and federal levels
  • Developing a strategy for approval
  • Utilizing our extensive resources to get your project designed as quickly as possible

Our knowledgeable team and partnerships can guide you every step of the way. The depth of our architectural resources and our many engineering partners allow us to get your projects 'shovel-ready' quickly — which is a critical consideration in funding approval.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, and allocates billions of dollars of targeted spending that will have a considerable impact on municipalities, school districts, health care and housing, as well as other sectors. In anticipation of ARRA, Governor Doyle created the State's Office of Recovery and Reinvestment, which is designed to direct dollars specifically allocated to the State of Wisconsin.
