Eric Dufek, RA, LEED AP

Senior Design Architect + Principal

Eric assists clients in solving their education facility needs through creative and budget-conscious solutions. An expert in the K-12 market, he works closely with clients from the very beginning of projects and remains a point of contact throughout construction. Eric has developed an impressive portfolio throughout his career, working on many projects for clients such as the West Bend School District, the Oak Creek/Franklin Joint School District, and the Greenfield School District. Energy efficiency, low maintenance materials, interior daylight and flexible education environments are hallmarks of his designs.

Professionally, I am most passionate about:

Problem solving through a creative and functional manipulation of the built environment.

I define good design as:

Buildings that are flexible enough to adapt to changes and designed with natural materials that keep them looking fresh, even after decades of heavy use.

If I could choose anyone as my mentor it would be:

Henry Ford because he changed an entire industry with a big idea.

Something people wouldn’t expect about me is:

For my birthday, my wife arranged for me to drive a NASCAR racecar on the Milwaukee Mile racetrack.
