Menasha Corporation Earns LEED Gold Certification

The Menasha Corporation headquarters has achieved LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) designed and Miron Construction built the new 102,000 square-foot Corporate Headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE – The Menasha Corporation headquarters has achieved LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) designed and Miron Construction built the new 102,000 square-foot Corporate Headquarters, which also houses the Menasha Packaging Company, in Neenah, Wisconsin. The corporation’s goal was to create a space that could adapt with the company and exemplify their passion for lean processes and innovative solutions, while encouraging socialization and well-being. Environmental Stewardship, is integral to culture of responsibility.

The Menasha Corporation received LEED Gold certification for implementing practical and measurable strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high performance in: enhanced energy systems, envelope insulation, a high level of recycled materials, water efficient fixtures, water efficient landscaping and pervious pavers. Of note are the reuse of salvaged heavy timber beams from the original 1967 office building, light monitors to maximize daylight throughout the building, extensive solar shading to control sunlight, and the use of electro-chromic glass to reduce solar heat gain at the main conference room.
