EUA's Raymond Elementary School Project Named K12 Project of the Year  by Milliken Floor Company Banner Image

MILWAUKEE – Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) won Milliken’s Project of the Year in the Education K12 segment for their design work with Raymond Elementary. The list honors projects across the U.S. on innovative flooring solutions.

The Raymond School project repurposed an existing gym to dual function as the school’s library and cafeteria to provide efficient use of space throughout the day. Eppstein Uhen Architects worked with Milliken Floor Company to create a brighter space with the addition of carpeting over sound-reducing rubber floors.

A leader in K-12 design, EUA has been continuously recognized for its’ creative finishes that create a fun and exciting atmosphere for students to learn, as well as their innovative design solutions to improve student achievement. Recent K-12 project awards include: Learning by Design – Outstanding Project, USGBC WI - SE2 Award of Excellence, Engineering News Record – 2015 Best Projects and the Starnet Worldwide Grand Prize.
