MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Elmbrook Schools’ 2016 Engaged in Excellence Awards has announced Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) as a finalist in the category of Excellence in a Community Partnership. EUA’s nomination was selected from 260 nominations celebrating excellence in the District.
EUA was nominated by Andy Farley, Principal at Brookfield East High School, for the work done by Rich Tennessen, President, and Megan Walker, Senior Interior Designer, on the Elmbrook School District’s Spartan Union, a state of the art student-run coffee shop. Both Tennessen and Walker have roots in Elmbrook being an East parent and an East graduate respectively. They will both be attending the event on May 26th at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center.
“EUA is the catalyst for the newest innovative space in the Elmbrook School district,” remarked Farley. “EUA has donated nearly $30,000 of supplies, time, renderings, drawings, etc. in order to make a dream space a reality. Both Rich and Megan have been outstanding ambassadors for our community’s commitment to excellence!”
